Testimonial-Legal Aid

I have been participating in PBSC since my first year of law school. My placement last year with Legal Aid Services Commission -Family Law division provided substantial legal work with hands on experience. During my time with legal aid I drafted affidavits, conducted legal research accompanied by memos and attended court proceedings. The experience I gained during the year helped to develop my legal researching skills as well as succinct writing and gave me a good idea of what the practice of law entails outside of the classroom. I would recommend joining PBSC and specifically volunteering with legal aid to get a well-rounded experience in law school.
